2024 brings in a new year and new features to the iOS apps! In early 2024 Android will also get these features and more as well. Here’s what’s in 8.2 of the iCollect iOS apps, out now:
- You can now select how many items you want displayed in each row when the Grid layout is selected.
- You can now create your own list of names on the “Loaned To” screen if you don’t want to allow access to your personal contacts.
- The items on multi-select views that are editable (like Genre) can now be deleted, by right-swiping, and re-added in the top right corner.
- Username information is now shared across iCollect apps automatically.
- Collection count is now based solely off of what is entered in the “Quantity” field. If the quantity is “0” then that item is not included in the total item count.
- Fixed a bug where more than 10 items were addable to list fields.
- Fixed a bug where the wrong image was shown after moving an item to/from the Wishlist.
- You can now search your collection by barcode or ISBN.
- “Opened” is now set to true by default for Movies.
- Missing image placeholder updated.
- Moved the Group Series setting into the Sort area
- Third-party library bug fixed and improvements.
